Unleashing your potential

Today I asked on twitter a subject to draw and the very talented _Octavia_ (go follow!) suggested the "potential" part of a monologue by Dylan Moran, which I find hilarious (and sad, at the same time)
Here's the clip:

The composition popped into my head immediately and I decided to focus on the little poor thing.
No, it's not mud.
Hope you enjoy!

Facebook Page

So, I wasn't huge fan of Facebook pages but seeing a lot of fellow colleugues opening one, I decided to do it myself.
I'll keep it updated and will try to diversify from the blog.
Also, I will post some inspirational art and tutorials that I'll find online.
Like and share, are very appreciated!

New Head...er!

Hello!
You might have noticed some restyling around here.
I finally took the time to create an appropriate header for the blog.
The girl should be me, even to I'm sure the resemlence is not quite there yet but what I really liked during the process of creating this piece, was taking confidence with Photoshop's brushes customization.

Is it Friday yet?

I know, it's barely Monday and I'm posting my contribution for this week's Illustration Friday.
I did a lot of sketches this time, before deciding the subject I was going to draw.
Despite all the nervous ones, the most peaceful and colorful won: good job subconscious.
All done in PS CS6 with a Intuos 4 Wireless Medium.

This week theme was: stretch

Illustration Friday

Incase you didn't know, there is a very nice initiative from Illustration Friday .
How it works: every week a topic is chosen and you have time up to friday to submit your interpretation of it.
It's a neat way to remember to keep drawing like the dickens!
This weeks topic is: Whiskers.
My interpretation of it came in an attempt to test a new tablet I bought (an Intuos 4 wireless, M) and to mainly get used to the new Photoshop (is it new just for me? I kinda feel like it).
Some new brushes are really nice, the next step would be to get a pc which doesn't give me a heart attack crashing the software because it's too old.
In the meanwhile:
